Play Order Up

Ok, I admit it. I WANT A Wii game console. My daughter has one and we had so much fun playing it when she met us in Kentucky. We laughed until our sides ached. You cannot imagine the facial expressions given while playing the games. Besides all the fun we had, I really enjoyed the fact that I am not such a klutz when playing online games as compared to playing in real life. We don’t even want to talk about how bad I am at sports. I think I could get into shape if I had the Wii Fit. Of course now that there is a new cooking game for Wii, I might be hungry all the time. The new game is called Order Up and I am sure will be a big hit with everyone. Watch the Order Up! Trailer to see just how much fun it is to play.

This game is the perfect way to learn to cook. Utilizing the Wii remote just like you would when you cook teaches you cooking skills! The more you adapt to the technique the harder it gets. Complexity is the name of the game as you rise up the cooking scale by cooking recipes on different skill levels. You will be cooking like a television chef before you know it!

A Wii in the Family

My daughter finally became the proud owner of a Wii. She met us in Kentucky this past weekend and while some of us didn’t get to play with the Wii as much as we liked, when we did, it was a blast. The first night we played, I was doing great while bowling. I’m glad I bowl better using a Wii than in real life. I had two spares when the power went out. Boo hoo. A tree had toppled the electric lines near my sister’s house and the houses all along the street were without power. We decided to pack everyone into a few vehicles and go to the Mexican restaurant to get some dinner. When we returned, hubby and I headed over to my niece’s house to spend the night there. No more Wii for me that night.

A few nights later we got my niece’s husband playing Mario Kart. Oh my gosh! We were laughing so hard. Did you know you can connect your Wii to the Internet? You can download games for even more fun. Yowzers! My daughter is going to be happy to hear about that.

The WiiWare games will be easy to download on the Wii Shop Channel. Just add some Wii points and you are ready to go. Another nice feature is that users will be able to see other player’s opinions to help them decide what to play next.
