My Opinion Counts

I am not sure when it changed but all of a sudden my opportunities taken list at PayPerPost is listed by the amount. That means whenever I look at the first page of that grouping I see my most favorite opportunity taken. It is when I earned $1000.00. It was an op that took place over many days as we “posties” searched for puzzle pieces.

Robyn, Jules, Owen and Techie were so helpful to me because I knew very little about html and had no clue how to make the puzzle pieces come together. I had just grasped the concept needed to show the puzzle on my blog as I grabbed the last puzzle piece. I grabbed the opportunity but got the dreaded opportunity taken. I think that whoever got the op grabbed it prematurely and it went back into the que. That is when I grabbed it!

I screamed for my husband to come upstairs so I could tell him what happened. I was stuck on the couch because I had bunion surgery that past fall was just about to get my surgical boot off when I proceeded to break an ankle. It had been a long winter. If I hadn’t been stuck on the couch, I don’t know if I would have been able to work so hard at finding those puzzle pieces. I refuse to admit that having broken bones is a good thing.

I can remember exactly when I hit the submit button and the op went through. I held my breath until it was reviewed and accepted. Woo Hoo! On January 17, 2007, I earned a thousand dollars!

Have you noticed how many Prius cars there are on the roads these days? I hear there is a waiting list if you want to buy one. I think they are very pretty and snazzy looking vehicles. I don’t think I would mind the good gas mileage they get. I paid $3.65 per gallon at the gas station today. The two-seat Tesla Roadster is priced at $109,000, so I doubt I will be buying one of those any time soon. I am interested in the Prius since it is a more affordable car.

The United States Environmental Protection Agency the 2008 Prius is the most fuel efficient car sold in the U.S. It is tied with the Mini-Cooper as being the second least CO2-emitting vehicle behind the Volkswagen Polo. The Mini-Cooper is another favorite of mine. We sat in a couple while waiting for our meeting at PayPerPost in Orlando. The Mini-Cooper dealership is across the street.

I am so excited about a new program. It is hard for me to think of the program as new because it has been in the works for a long time. I think the big push is about ready to happen though, and Real Ranks is going to change the way our blogs are ranked. No longer will PR, (page rank), be something we think about.
