The Days Fly By

I knew that this week would go by much too quickly. Our daughter has been here this week. She lives in Florida and flew, in an airplane, to visit us before she is deployed. We have been having fun just goofing around. This is a picture of her downloading tunes to my computer. Isn’t she nice? I was telling her all about a “new” singer that I like, Duffy and that she needed to check out her song, Mercy. She let me know that she had put that song on a cd for me the last time she was home and that the cd is in my car. Wow! I need to pay more attention. Stacy was able to get my credit card out of the dash of my car. I talked about my predicament on my other blog in case you are wondering what the heck I am talking about.

Evening Fun

Tonight I had to go out for the evening. I hated to miss American Idol. Hubby said it was pretty good tonight. They sang songs from Broadway shows like Phantom of the Opera. I wish I could have heard them singing that type of music. I think it probably showed how far their range of notes went and if they could really sing outside their niche.

The night was fun because I went to card club. I have been in a Euchre group for almost 30 years. We gals get together and talk, laugh and hopefully play cards. I pulled a good one tonight. I am the only one in our clubs history that got a loner (took all the tricks), which means I had an excellent hand dealt to me and acted on it, but managed to win the boobie prize. LOL
