I thought my mom was going to need a new kidney today. Let me explain.

My dog, Elsie, loves stuffed animals. I received a lovely green box from IZEA today. Inside was a product and a fun turkey hat.

I was wearing that hat while bringing my mom a cup of coffee. Elsie took a look at my head and went wacko! She jumped farther than I have ever seen her jump and landed right in my mom’s lap! Poor mom. I had to hide the hat to get Elsie to forget about it. Crazy dog.

I should ask my mailman what he thinks IZEA stands for. Do you think he wonders why I get green boxes delivered to my house? I should offer him a can of Blu Frog!

There was a green package waiting inside the door when I opened our shop this morning. I received the Postie of the Month award from IZEA for the month of May 2008. I am so honored to work with this great company. Thanks IZEA.

I am so excited about a new program. It is hard for me to think of the program as new because it has been in the works for a long time. I think the big push is about ready to happen though, and Real Ranks is going to change the way our blogs are ranked. No longer will PR, (page rank), be something we think about.

The big deal is called IzeaRanks. IzeaRanks uses javascript to collect and report Blog Ranks that are based on your actual traffic. More accurate accounting of our blogs will be made with reference to actual traffic and readership. This means that well written blogs are finally, going to be acknowledged for their efforts. Yay!
