I love to shop. Just keep me out of a furniture store. That is a dangerous place for me. I love furniture. I wish it was possible to change the whole theme of my house. I am not that way with clothes. I have to be pushed into new styles. Just about the time they are going out of style is when I decide I like them. I am cheap when it comes to buying books. I would rather go to the library. That is just about the only thing I wish I didn’t have tons of money for.
Years ago it was easy to find good investments and have a little bit of fun money. These days it is not as easy to find high yield savings accounts. I was pleasantly surprised to find a list for some of the highest yielding accounts available. Emoneycentral.com is a personal finance related site that reports on high yield bank and credit union accounts. Check out their site and start earning more on your money.
With a bit of extra dough ray me, I can have a bit more F U N!
Hubby has always wanted to go on a cruise to Alaska. My sis sent me this link about a cruise ship that has run aground. Since it happened at 12:15 am it could have been a very bad situation. It sounds like, though, that everything is turning out ok as the passengers have been taken from the ship. Many vessels that were passing by stopped to help. They don’t know why this happened but think they might have struck a rock.
There is the coolest site for trendy baby clothes. My nephew and his wife are enjoying their new baby and always have her dressed in the cutest baby clothes. I am so excited to have found this site where they definitely live up to their motto: We Answer to the Call of Coolness! Their lines include some of the coolest names in the music business like Jimi Hendrix and Gwen Stefani. Gwen’s Harajuku baby clothes are a must have item. The Retro Baby lines such as Confucius Says and Retro Boy are really stylin’! The baby t-shirts will have you rolling in laughter. I thought one of the funniest ones said Confucius says: Green food makes Green Poo! LOL When you want the coolest baby clothes, you will find them at TheRetroBaby.com.
I didn’t use my laptop this weekend because we were so busy. I could have though because the hotel had free internet access. I only had to turn on my laptop to check my email. I didn’t have to type in any access codes or anything. I love how the world is becoming so tech enabled. Greg was able to text message us during the graduation ceremony. That was fun.
This afternoon the discussion turned to the discussion of “Notch Babies”. Do you know what a Notch baby is? Take a guess.
There are names for all sorts of groups of people. Who hasn’t heard the term Baby Boomer. Are you a child of the Sixties?
Do you know of any other cliches?
