Husband’s Birthday

Okay, it is September. There are a few family birthdays in September, one being my husband’s. If I had a lot of money, I know that he would love to have a Mini-Cooper and a tear drop camper trailer.

We stopped at a car dealership on our way home from taking our daughter to the airport on Tuesday. They had just received a shipment of tear drop campers! My husband has been interested in these cute little campers for a few years but had yet to find one near us so he could actually look at one. It was fun to see how such a small camper could hold so much. Hubby was in heaven. LOL

Anyway, since I don’t have the funds to buy a camper or car, I have been looking at Aquaswiss watches at Blue Dial dot com. They are an authorized reseller of well known watch brands and offer exceptional prices. And, since I have procrastinated and need to rush to get hubby’s gift, they offer FREE 2-day shipping! Thank you Blue Dial!

My husband is very hard on watches and usually buys a cheap watch to wear while he is working. When he wants to dress up, he enjoys wearing a fashionable watch. I think he will like this Swissport watch with its Roman numeral numbered dial and a sturdy rubber strap.

Now, to stop procrastinating and get it ordered!

Help Me Rhonda!

I have been dropping E cards and on most blogs there are advertisements. I can usually look away but the past few days, I have been having trouble. Why? Because I love shoes.

Here is a picture of my husband trying to keep me out of a shoe store in Branson, Missouri. A man we didn’t even know was helping him by keeping the store door shut!

One might call me a shoe addict. I keep clicking on these advertisements and find myself drooling over shoes. Fortunately, I have been able to talk myself out of buying any but OMG! It is the end of the season. Sandals are on sale! I hear that song Help Me Rhonda in my head.

I was wondering if that is really a song and lo and behold it is!
From Wikipedia
“Help Me, Rhonda” is a song written by Brian Wilson and Mike Love for their American rock band The Beach Boys. The song is the first Beach Boys song (with the exception of their Christmas Album) to feature a lead vocal by Al Jardine. It was released in March 1965 on the album Today! as “Help Me, Ronda”. By that time, it had already been re-recorded; this second recording was released as a single through Capitol Records in April 1965, re-titled with the more well-known “Rhonda” spelling.

The single peaked at number one in the United States, their second U.S. number one single after “I Get Around”.

Beautiful Jewelry

Learn Why A Brooks Range Primaloft® Mountaineering Jacket Is Ideal For Outdoor Activities

Whether you’re hiking, camping, climbing, biking, or just spending time in the outdoors, it’s important to stay warm and dry. With all of the choices available, it can sometimes be overwhelming when trying to find the right mountain jacket for your needs. Brooks Range is your expert manufacturer of climbing gear and mountaineering equipment, and can help provide the information you need to make an informed decision.

What To Look For When Buying An Insulated Mountaineering Jacket

When comparing one mountain jacket to another, how can you determine which one will keep you both warm and dry? A Primaloft® mountaineering jacket will offer you features and benefits far superior to any of its competitors. Primaloft® technology is designed to be warm even when it gets wet. Down can lose its insulation properties when it gets wet, but climbing gear and mountaineering equipment with the ultra-fine, synthetic microfiber Primaloft® continues to keep you warm.

To optimize the properties of Primaloft®, Brooks-Range wraps it in Pertex™, a super-fine 10 denier nylon that feels luxurious soft and smooth on your skin, but is tough and resistant to tearing. If you’re out with a backpack stuffed with climbing gear, mountaineering equipment, supplies, and other necessities, your Primaloft® mountaineering jacket will take up less space. The ultra-soft fibers are soft against your skin, while wicking moisture to the surface so that it can evaporate. After doing some research, Brooks Range believes you’ll see that Primaloft® is the best insulated mountaineering jacket you can buy.

Love Looking for a New Car?

My husband drives me crazy. He loves to drive through car lots and look at all the new cars. I only like to do that if I know I am going to get to buy one. To me, it is like going to the mall and not being able to come out with any packages. It just doesn’t make sense.

We are not in the market for a new car but my mom is. Now, this is where I can get involved! I have nothing invested except my opinion! LOL

I can suggest a new Honda because my mother in-law has had a few of those and they were so reliable. Or, I can get her interested in a new Saab like our friends who were just here from New York were driving. It was pretty cool and they said it was very comfortable on their long drive to Indiana. My mom needs a comfortable car to drive to warm weather each year when she wants to escape Indiana snowstorms.

How am I coming up with all these links to help mom find her car? I am using www dot carconnection.com. It is fun to use that website and super easy to maneuver. For instance, if I am looking for the new Mitsubishi Outlander Se, I go to the website and search for that particular car. If I want to put in the types of options mom wants and see what it brings up, I can find choices for her to look at that way too. (Doing that brought up a Lexus Gs 450 Hybrid and I am not sure she wants to spend that much money. She likes all those options!)

Try out the website and have fun looking for a new car. It sure beats driving through car lots.
