Heads or Tails Chain

Heads Or Tails
This week’s theme at Heads or Tails is “chain.” Make any kind of post using any form of the word “Chain”

Early memories of Christmas decorations remind me of the times I spent making chains out of red and green construction paper. In elementary school we would make long chains so our teacher could use them to decorate our classroom. There is even a wikiHow article about How to Make a Christmas Chain!

I still play with items of color, as you can see over at Winding Threads. I need ideas on what to make from my purchase.

Heads or Tails Show and Tell

Heads Or Tails
This week’s theme at Heads or Tails is TAILS – “Show ‘N Tell”

Remember playing Show ‘N Tell back in school? This is pretty much the same. Post something you want to “show” and then “tell” about it.

I have to show you the beautiful table my son and daughter in-law set for our Thanksgiving dinner. It was beautiful. Next time, I will show you a picture of all the food. It was amazing.

Heads or Tails Way!

Heads Or Tails

Oh my goodness! I almost forgot to participate in one of my favorite memes, Heads or Tails. Skittles always thinks of the most fun topics for us participants. The theme/prompt for THIS week, September 15, is:

HEADS – “Way”
*OR*
TAILS – “Rhymes With Way”

I chose to rhyme with the word way. I am thinking about the word stay. I wish our dogs knew how to “stay”. Training makes the difference between a wild uncontrollable animal and a lovable manageable house pet. Effective training can be given to a dog from the age of eight weeks. It is best for the owner and dog to start training before bad habits become deeply ingrained. Too late for our two!

and no, they don’t “stay” off the furniture either.

Heads or Tails #102

Heads Or Tails
The topic for this weeks Heads or Tails meme is “note”. If you would like to play along, click the graphic and you will be taken to Heads or Tails!

Who invented sticky notes?

They were invented by Art Fry, a researcher at 3M using an adhesive developed by a colleague, Spencer Silver. The Patent is held by the 3M Corporation.

Look at what this artist made with sticky notes!

Please, indulge my need for comments and take a look at my latest creation in the post below this one.

Heads or Tails #101 Five Years

The theme/prompt for THIS week, July 28, is: Five Years Tell how you think you or your life will be different in five years. Will it be better or worse? Why will it change?

Hmm, in 5 years I will be 58 years old and since I have been more diligent about exercising, I hope to be in good shape and have more energy.

I could possibly be a grandma by then. I’m not in a hurry for that though.

I hope that we will be able to cut back on our hours here at our carpet store. I would love to be closed on Saturdays.

It sounds as if my life will be a lot of the same in five years.
