I am constantly at my sewing table these past few days because my daughter is bringing guests from Michigan when she arrives tonight. My daughter’s friend has a five year old who will also be our guest. That means having a busy little girl in our home. She has been here before and is such a well behaved young lady. Still, it is best not to have valuable projects laying around. Especially ones that entail the use of scissors, pins and needles. Here is a purse I finished recently.

Now, I am cutting fabric to put a binding on a recently finished quilt.

Wow! A few days of sunshine and we are all getting busy! No one is busier than my friend Vixen over at Apron Frenzy. Vixen desperately wants to attend Bloggy Boot Camp in AZ on May 1st and is producing beautiful spring aprons. She hopes that everyone will buy a beautiful apron and help fund her trip! She is even offering to get them shipped quickly if you are trying to have a beautiful apron for a hostess gift or for yourself this Easter Sunday.

I am so IN THE MOOD to get together with other quilters and see what they have been doing these past few months. Our quilt guild takes a break during November, December and January so I have not seen my quilting buddies. We meet tonight! I am taking a few things that I have made for show and tell.

I made this table topper for the end table in my office.

I made this table cloth for the oak table in our lodge room.

Does your brain seem more foggy when there is snow on the ground and the day is dreary? I am so sleepy and am finding it hard to get motivated today. I did finish a purse for a customer. I am going to have to buy more of this fabric because I barely had enough to make this bag. It is the fourth purse I have made out of this fabric so I think that others like it too!
