Sponsored Tweets

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Sponsored Tweets. All opinions are 100% mine.

What do Kim Kardashian, Bob Vila, Sister Hazel and Leann Rimes and I have in common? We are all participating in the new Sponsored Tweets program! IZEA’s recently launched SponsoredTweets.com is helping people make money while tweeting.

A month or so ago, I was asked to sign up for sponsored tweets. I read over the instructions, the policy concerning disclosure and the referral program and signed up as fast as my fingers would type.

Sponsored Tweets is connecting tweeters with advertisers who are interested in gaining exposure for their idea and product.

My heart gets all pitter pattery when I get an email that lets me know an advertiser wants me to Twitter for them. I simply log in to my account and if I like what the advertiser has to offer, I agree to let the system use my Twitter account to get the word out.

I like the ability to accept or reject an offer. There are some things I know nothing about. Sorry to burst my kid’s bubble. Believe it. I do not know about everything. For example, if an advertiser wants me to tell everyone what I think about car oil I would have to pass but if they ask me to let the world know what I think about leather interior, I am in the know! LOL

I have already made a little money with Sponsored Tweets and so can you!

IntenseDebate and CommentLuv

I love CommentLuv. It is always good to give our commentors luv isn’t it? I think that anyone engaging in conversation with me deserves a bit of link juice. Now, I am not saying that I want people to leave comments simply to get link juice. I hope they find what I have to say interesting enough to respond with a comment. When they leave a comment, my CommentLuv plugin allows them to automatically get link juice. I try to go to their blogs to leave a comment but it isn’t always possible. CommentLuv comes to the rescue!

I have been reading about the plugin IntenseDebate and checking to see what it can do for me. IntenseDebate is a blog plugin created by Automattic, and is available for WordPress, Blogger, tumblr, and TypePad. IntenseDebate allows for comment threading, reply-by-email, user accounts and reputations, comment voting, along with Twitter and friendfeed integrations. All of these enhancements are good for my blog in that they, supposedly, gain traffic for my blog.

I just received an email from Andy over at ComLuv. He is working on integrating the CommentLuv plugin with IntenseDebate.

Oh my. So much to ponder.

3. We will confirm by replying to you via dm at which point the domain will be added to your Netfirms Control Panel. The domain is now ready to be used.

Good luck everyone!

Oh the Life of a Laptop

I have made a commitment to my computer. Whenever it moves slower than I think it should or it messes up in some way, I stroke it. Yes, I feel like throwing it into the yard but I stroke it. I say, “nice computer” and hope it moves faster and works more efficient. I love my HP laptop. It has a 17″ screen that allows me to have several windows open at a time. The picture is so clear on my HP. I also love my 15″ HP laptop that I inherited from my daughter! I am not sure if stroking them works or not but it makes feel better than going into a rage. Can you imagine what it must be like to be a computer?

Oh no! she is downloading another thousand pictures! She doesn’t understand what that does to me. I am two years old and she thinks I am spry. I wish I were spry. I would love to be a new shiny HP. I have been lugged around so much that my keys have begun to fall off and the ones that don’t fall off are stuck because of all those macadamian nut cookies she eats while typing. Sheesh, you would think she would know better. I wish there was a way to let her know about the great deals you can get at HP. While supplies last, you can get $500 off instantly when you purchase an HP HDX 16t with $300 coupon code NBN3248 + $200 Instant Rebate! Now, as always there are applicable restrictions and exclusions so she will need to go to HP’s website and check it out. I can only hope she acts on this so I can have a much needed rest.

An Expert Guide for Choosing a Web Host

I have been blogging for many years and some of those years were on free blogging sites. I loved changing the colors of my blog and fine tuning it to suit my tastes. I met many bloggers in those early days and many are still my friends to this day. Once I decided to become a serious blogger, meaning I started to post my opinions in addition to playing with memes, it was time to get my own domain and find good website hosting.

Thankfully, I had wonderful blogging friends who guided me to inexpensive web hosting sites and helped me figure out how to buy a domain name. I was in the dark and needed so much prodding. I am so glad that my friends didn’t give up on me. I think it made them feel good to help a lowly blogger like me. LOL

As the years passed, I found out what the difference was between a mediocre host and a good host. I had a less than mediocre host. I was getting tired of outages and weird messages when visitors came to my blog. I worked hard to get visitors and it frustrated me to think they were unable to read my posts. It was time to get quality web hosting. I hated to bug my blogging friends and was glad to know about Web Hosting Rating’s website.

I knew that my blogging buddies would help me but I was enjoying my new found freedom and decided to utilize the Web Hosting Rating website and let their expertise guide me. They have unbiased reviews of web hosting providers. I laughed when I saw my previous web hosting site listed as cheap. Cheap was a good word for them. I look for the words reliable when choosing a web host provider. I also read the reviews from actual users and see what they have to say about a hosting company’s technical support service. Let me tell you, technical support means the world to a blogger like me.

Whether you are a beginning blogger and need help choosing a free host so you can get your feet wet, or an ecommerce site that needs extra bandwidth, visitor trackers, and your own I.P. address, Web Hosting Rating has the information you need.
