Find Your Soulmate

When my son was in high school, he had an English teacher that moved here from New York. I wondered what brought him to Indiana from such a northern state. My son found out that his teacher had met his wife on the Internet and moved here, to her home state, after their marriage. This was when I began hearing of more and more connections being made through the Internet.

After you have entered information that narrows down information basic to yourself, you are ready to hit the enter button. That is when you can check out all the dating options paired with your listing. You can search for free. It is so easy to get started on the road to finding that special someone.

Dress for the Job

Storefront_logoI am hooked on reality tv shows that help people change their wardrobes, hairstyles and makeup. It amazes me how people are oblivious to how bad they look. These are professional people working with big budgets and have wonderful jobs. Would you buy a product from a person who looked like they just rolled out of bed? I hope more people get the idea that when you are a professional, you should dress like one.

Money is not an excuse for dressing poorly. When you have wonderful sites like MySuitNY.com, you can look like the professional of which you aspire. MySuitNY.com makes being able to afford a custom suit within your budget. Once you own a Made to measure suit, you will never want anything but one that fits so well. The My.Suit Experience takes you where you only thought the rich bought their important wardrobes. With over 40 years of manufacturing and retail experience producing mens’ suits, MySuit has found that by using improved technology for their shipping and manufacturing processes, they can reduce the cost of their products. That makes owning a well-made suit affordable even for those who are just starting out. If you are looking for a job, dress like you would make the potential employer shine. Dress like you are serious about doing a good job for the prospective business.

Finally, Affordable Eyewear

We are a family of four and, let me tell you, buying eyeglasses is something we definitely have to plan and budget for. We are also self employed, so vision insurance isn’t always an option. I personally have worn prescription eyeglasses since I was a teenager, so I’ve gone through more lenses and frames than I could ever count. I hate to think how much all of those lenses and frames have cost in dollars.

I know that there are many families, even with vision insurance, can’t afford the high cost of prescription glasses. There are many kids who are in school and can’t see the lessons because they need glasses and their parents can’t afford them. To all of those who are in need and to those who simply hate paying high prices, I say, read on.

I recently heard a radio show talking about ZenniOptical.com, a site that not only sells prescription eyewear, but sells them at an extremely affordable price. A basic pair of prescription lenses and frames cost a mere $8. They also sell prescription sunglasses, basic bifocals and other options at slightly additional costs. Even with the add-ons, they’re still very affordable.

Clark Howard discussed zennioptical on his radio show and you can read his comments as well as those of others who have used their service.

MLB - Chicago White Sox or Chicago Cubs

I just telephoned my sister to chat and she informed me that she couldn’t talk right now, she was busy watching the Chicago White Sox playing against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. It’s the first game of their playoffs and she didn’t want to miss it. I can understand, although, I’d probably choose to root for the Chicago Cubs before rooting for the White Sox.

A few years ago my husband and I were invited to attend a Chicago Cubs game at Wrigley Field in Chicago and so, for sentimental reasons, I still find myself rooting for them. I’m not a big sports fan, but I do enjoy baseball now and then. My sister and her family used to live in a suburb southwest of Chicago and so, they root for the White Sox. They lived there in 2005 when the Sox won the World Series and they’re hoping to see that happen again, even though they now reside in Texas.

So, I’m rooting for the Cubs, my sister’s rooting for the Sox and our mom is a big fan of the Seattle Mariners. Who do you root for?

Fall Day Three

What a gorgeous fall day we are having here in the midwest. I am having trouble keeping my eyes open as I read through blogs while dropping E cards. I worked in my office all day yesterday and this morning so I would have time to work on my laptop and sew this afternoon.

I just finished the last load of laundry and so I am finished running up and down the stairs. I hate being away the whole weekend because it takes forever to get caught up on straightening the house and doing laundry. It was worth the look on Lynn’s face when I surprised him on his birthday. He didn’t know that when I said we were going out for breakfast that I meant we were also going to the casino. He won at the slots so he had a great day. After the horrible week he had last week, I am so glad to have seen him have fun. He needed the break.
