The Art of Wellness

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of wellnessdaily.com. All opinions are 100% mine.

I need my mommy! LOL Seriously though, I need someone to hold me accountable to maintaining an exercise schedule. When my mom is home from her winter stay, she and I walk and go to the gym. We sorta coax each other into doing what we need to do.

I think accountability is the key to successful exercise programs. The other key is eating sensibly. There is a great website, www.wellnessdaily.com, that has valuable tips to help us get on the right track to good health. There is a section on eating healthy foods that gives portion sizes to help you choose the correct size to help you maintain or lose weight. Our minds have been tricked into thinking the portions served at restaurants are what we are supposed to eat. Check out the sizes given on the website. You will be pleasantly surprised.

The website is helpful when deciding on supplements, healthy snacks and which exercises benefit you most. Unlike other health information websites, Wellness Daily is easy to read and I found it so interesting that I had to drag myself away.

Join wellnessdaily.com and while you are there, be sure to enter the Twitter contest for a chance to win a WellnessDaily.com prize package which include coupons for a year-long supply of Jennie-O Turkey Store product and a one-year gym membership, valued at $1,250. Change and Never Change

Heads Or Tails
The first thing I saw when I logged into this blog was that an upgrade is available. Yes, WP 2.9.2 is ready to be loaded. It does not strike fear into my well being as it used to before the plugin to do it automatically. I love new inventions that make life easier!

One thing that will never change and of which I am grateful is my love for chocolate. The latest news touts the benefits of dark chocolate. I will be ever grateful for the notion that I am eating healthier whilst downing another piece of Valentine’s Day chocolate. Life is so good.

Foggy Brain

Does your brain seem more foggy when there is snow on the ground and the day is dreary? I am so sleepy and am finding it hard to get motivated today. I did finish a purse for a customer. I am going to have to buy more of this fabric because I barely had enough to make this bag. It is the fourth purse I have made out of this fabric so I think that others like it too!

Heads Or Tails

This week’s theme for heads or tails is “won” or “one.” Well, I have been working on Christmas gifts and finished this one. One down, twelve to go!

I am also working on getting a few Christmas purses, like this one, finished and listed in my Etsy shop.

Join us at Heads or Tails and see what other’s have listed as their “won” or “one.” It is great fun.

Gone to the Dogs

My house, at times, seems to have gone to the dogs. I wonder if these three know how good they have it.

Suzie, on the left, is my mom’s dog. She is the queen bee because she is old. She lets the others know that she does not want to be bothered. Rarely do we see her scowl. The other two just seem to know to abide by her wishes to be left alone. She is a sweetie.

Brody, in the middle, has led us to visits to the Purdue Veterinary School for treatment of an eye infection. Tomorrow will hopefully be our last visit. His eye looks wonderfully clear.

Elsie, on the right, is our stately Boston Terrier. She is like a race horse. She is such a good dog and graces us with her presence on occasion. More times than not, she is in our bed, under the covers. Be careful if you get close when she is sleeping. She lets out a growl that tells us she is getting her beauty sleep.
