We Have Snow!
I had no idea what was going on back here in Indiana while visiting our son over the weekend. It snowed in St. Louis, where my son and his wife live, too but I hadn’t paid any attention to what was going on back home.
We traveled to St. Louis to watch the Butler Bulldogs battle the St. Louis Bilikens. The Bulldogs got slaughtered. They were off their game and it was disheartening to watch. We had a fun time though. The Butler Alumni association held a get together that we attended before the game. It was held at the Uptown/Downtown bar. Not sure I have the correct name. Maybe it was inside outside? Oh well, they had a good meal for us and shuttled us to the ball game. We got to ride home with Hink, the Bulldog mascot. His head kept hitting the switch that turned on the van’s dome light. My son would reach over and shut it off each time. It got to be a funny ordeal. LOL
We ate at so many good places and even traveled on Route 66! It is my husbands dream to travel from start to finish on Route 66.
It is time to get the dogs from the kennel and get back to work.
