New Stove
I find myself laughing to myself when a customer comes into our store to pick out new flooring and complains about the color of their “old” appliances. They haven’t seen old until they have stepped into my kitchen! I have harvest gold appliances. They are the appliances that came with the house when we moved here in 1981.
Things are going to change!
My oven died. Parts cannot be found. Woo hoo! While I did not want the expense of buying a new stove at this time, I am happy to say good-bye to harvest gold appliances! I am so excited!

Man, harvest gold! I still remember my parents having avocado colored appliances. Frankly, I’d go for all harvest gold and/or avocado if my wife would let me (she won’t). Why? Because it’s funny!

Did you go with the stainless? I thought you were going with black. Now all we need is to get rid of your biscuit-colored fridge!

Great news!!! We had harvest gold appliances when we moved into our house, too. They had been there since 1972 when the kitchen was “remodeled.” The first thing we did was ditch the oven because it didn’t work anymore.
