One of the great things about the holidays is that my kids love to cook. When they visit, I reap the benefits. My daughter and daughter in-law joined efforts and made scones. It killed me to not tell my daughter there was a Kitch-aid mixer under the tree.

A few years ago, I was working with a client who came in several times before making her final selection of floor covering. Each time she came to our store, she was wearing a different pair of glasses. I was so jealous of her stylish frames and wondered how in the world she could afford so many different pairs.
