Food Everywhere!

One of the great things about the holidays is that my kids love to cook. When they visit, I reap the benefits. My daughter and daughter in-law joined efforts and made scones. It killed me to not tell my daughter there was a Kitch-aid mixer under the tree.

Some had cranberries in them. Some were frosted. All were delicious!

Counting Pennies

If you are like me, you have cut back on your spending this year. I have stayed out of the stores to keep myself from being tempted to buy things I don’t need. I have utilized the Internet to find specific items on my Christmas shopping list and have kept my spending to a minimum. Of course, I always use coupon codes found at Savings.com.

Savings.com helps me cut through all the hype and so-called deals offered by other sites. Savings.com personalizes deals for me, based on preferences I selected during the sign-up process. I feel kinda smug about the time I save using Savings.com. For instance, I have been in need of a decent pair of shoes when I go to church. I dreaded going shopping because it seems that all the dressy heels have dangerous 4″ heels. This clutzy gal is not going to wear those. Rather than spend the time and gas going from store to store, I simply checked with Saving.com and found the perfect pair of shoes at JC Penney. Better than the time I saved, was the price I paid by using my coupon code from Savings.com!

Check out Savings.com and you will be amazed by all the stores and businesses of which they are associated. From Drugstore.com and 1-800-Flowers.com to all the major department stores like, Kohls, The Gap and Macy’s, Savings.com is going to save you tons of money.

Looking Good for the Holidays!

A few years ago, I was working with a client who came in several times before making her final selection of floor covering. Each time she came to our store, she was wearing a different pair of glasses. I was so jealous of her stylish frames and wondered how in the world she could afford so many different pairs. She had black ones and tortoise shell frames. She had red ones and blue ones! She was having fun coordinating her glasses frames with her outfits each day. I wanted to be able to do that!

I kept going to my local optometrist, who I love and still go to these days, to have my eyes examined. I spent over $500.00 to get new lenses and frames each year. It makes me sad that I didn’t know there was a source to buy inexpensive eyeglasses.

Thank goodness for the power of the Internet! I am excited to tell you about Zenni Optical. They have quality eyeglasses and because they have limited their overhead, they are able to sell their frames at low prices.

Zenni Optical has a fun, fashionable frame to add to your wardrobe this holiday season. Holiday Themed Zenni Optical Frames are Coming to Town! and their frames are priced so low that you will have extra cash to spend on your family. Wouldn’t it be nice to have extra money to buy more cute holiday socks?

Check out Zenni’s website for more holiday frames like these pretty, red Santa frames:

Adding to the Holiday Spirit

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Zenni Optical for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Do you know what makes me the happiest when I set out to do my Christmas shopping? It is when I can get a great value for my money.

Zenni Optical understands how important it is to make every dime count when spending our hard earned money. I have told you about my horrific experiences with our local optometrists array of expensive frames and eyeglass service. I love my optometrist but when it comes to the eyeglass and frame part, I use Zenni. One of my pet peeves when purchasing anything is having to pay for "extras". Look at what is included in your purchase when you buy from Zenni Optical.

Even though I refer to my Zenni's as, cheap eyeglasses, I don't have to skimp on quality and I get excellent service when ordering. Just think what one can save when buying eyeglasses from Zenni. I know that with a few extra coins in my pocket, I can buy a whole Friends dvd set and not have to buy just one or two of my favorites! It is so hard to choose from all the classics!

I want these frames! Wouldn't these red frames look good with my Santa hat?

Get to Zenni and pick out which frames you like. It would be fun if you'd let me know which ones are your favorites by leaving me a message in my comments.

Happy Holidays from me and Zenni Optical!
