A Storm is Brewing
If you haven’t heard it already, the mid-west is in for a big snow storm. If you aren’t panicking yet, good for you. The newscasters will not let it be. They make people afraid. They even interrupted Dr. Oz as he was telling us what vitamins are best for us. Grrr.
I know that we are supposed to get so much snow that the poor mailman will be unable to see any address signs while he tries to deliver the mail. You’ve heard the saying;
It is said that as many days as there are in the whole journey, so many are the men and horses that stand along the road, each horse and man at the interval of a day’s journey; and these are stayed neither by snow nor rain nor heat nor darkness from accomplishing their appointed course with all speed. (trans. A.D. Godley 1924)
The school kids will love getting a day off. They forget that they will have to go to school in June to make up the days.
I have loads of projects to work on. I am ready to hunker down, drink hot cocoa and watch the snow fall.

The most important thing is not to panic.

We didn’t get the massive snow but we have been -16 for a few days and I don’t like it one bit! LOL. I live in Colorado and I’m used to the snow..but this cold is AWFUL!
