I just finished reading James Patterson’s novel, 1st to Die. I had trouble putting this book down! My husband suggested I get a book light. LOL He is normally accommodating to me reading in bed but I pushed it a little by reading into the wee hours of the morning. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, the whole plot took a twist. I had to read “just one more chapter”.
This was a great book about a police woman trying to solve a crime while battling an extreme health issue of her own. It had a bit of romance and humor. I can’t wait to read the second book in the series. Luckily, I have it on my nightstand.

Cool. patterson really markets his books so I’ve stayed away thinking they were too commercial. I’ll give it a read.
