Thinking About That Cow Poop
On Saturday evening, hubby and I watched the movie, Food, Inc. I was afraid to watch it and my fears were fulfilled. I saw cows standing in their own poop and chickens so heavy that their legs would not support their bodies. In an effort to produce the most product for the least amount of money, producers are forcing farmers to use methods that are not healthy for animals. I wonder if the product we eat is full of chemicals that are causing all the cases of autism we see today.

I am only one person but I plan on buying more organic vegetables and free range meat.

I wouldn’t be surprised. I did a lot of subbing this past school year in special ed classes with autistic kids. There’s definitely an increase in the number of kids diagnosed with autism.
Right now I’m still looking for a teaching job and we can’t afford to buy much organic food. But I’m a strong believer in buying organic when possible. If I could afford it, I would buy everything organic that I could.
