May Days

Oh no! I missed national chocolate chip day. It was May 15th. Had I known about it, I would have eaten chocolate chip cheese cake at the Cheesecake Factory.

I was able to celebrate national sunscreen day today. It was so hot and humid today that it was important to keep the sunscreen piled on my skin. I hope you were able to get out and celebrate Sun Screen Day in the sun…with your sun screen protection.

May 30th is water a flower day. I will be celebrating that day for sure!

Happy May everyone.

Effective for Babies, Helpful for Adults

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Boudreaux’s Butt Paste. All opinions are 100% mine.

When it comes to our babies, we are all concerned with keeping them healthy and feeling their best. No matter how hard I tried, my babies got diaper rashes. Boudreaux’s Butt Paste came to my rescue! It was so successful at healing diaper rashes that I kept it around to use when the kids smooth skin became chaffed because of those cute little fat rolls they had. It seemed like a miracle cure to me. Now, I wonder if it would help our installers keep their hands from becoming chaffed and sore. Boudreaux’s Butt Paste seals out wetness, spreads on easily, cleans off quickly and has a pleasant scent. No one would even know it was meant for babies! Our guys need to protect their hands too. Their hands are constantly in water as they cut ceramic and work with moist grout. Their poor hands have split and cracked skin. Boudreaux’s might be just the ticket for protection of their skin.

First Fish

I probably would have posted this picture earlier if I had been the one to catch the first fish. In an effort to be nice and because he took my fish off the hook when I caught them, here is a picture of hubby. Yes, he caught the first fish.

My Mini Moment Contest

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Dove Ice Cream. All opinions are 100% mine.

I find myself encouraging young mothers to take time for themselves. If they can manage a few minutes to paint their fingernails, read a magazine or do something that is just for themselves, they will find they have a better outlook for wiping noses and changing dirty diapers. It is amazing how much better one can feel after a few short moments of me time.

DOVE® Ice Cream knows how important some “me time” is and they are sponsoring a “My Mini Moment” contest . By simply submitting a photo and short essay at DoveIceCream.com/myminimoment by June 7, 2010, you will be entered to win some fantastic prizes. You could be the winner of one of 3 sensational mini-grand prizes: a mini-getaway to Napa Valley, Spa services for a year or a mini-home makeover.
