Snow in Branson

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Hiltons of Branson. All opinions are 100% mine.

Okay, we have approximately 6 inches of snow on the ground, traffic is slowed and school has been canceled. I am inside going stir crazy. All I want to do is sleep. I have an idea to remedy this situation. If I am going to be where it snows, I’ll go to Branson where I can sit in a hot tub, visit and eat at beautiful restaurants and be entertained by famous entertainers each night.

Because I write reviews for my blog, I have done research on places to stay and still think that the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing is my favorite for hospitality. The Hilton Promenade and Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel both feature the best of the best when it comes to quality rooms, location and amenities.

During the summer months, guests can find plenty to do by participating in outdoor activities such as visiting the arts and crafts shops, hiking, and many other interesting activities that the whole family can enjoy. Amazingly, Branson is a fun place to be during the winter months too. I say amazingly because it is hard for me to imagine being anywhere and enjoying snow. LOL I think I might get an attitude adjustment in Branson. Just take me to the spa and watch me smile.

Harry Potter Cliff Notes

While the kids were home this Christmas, we watched the latest Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. While I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, I think I would have enjoyed it more had I been able to follow the character lines.

I think I need to re-read all of the HP books. Do you know how long that will take me? Does anyone have any cliff notes?

If I am not around, it is because I have my nose in a book.

LG Chocolate Touch Does It All

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of LG Chocolate Touch. All opinions are 100% mine.

I am perfectly fine with my old stuff like MP3 players, radios, big screen projection televisions etc. That is until I get around my kids. I find out there is Blue Ray that makes everything look amazing when I watch a movie. I drool over my daughter’s new Kindle and wish I had one so I could read in bed without having my nightstand light on. And the phones they have! Their phones do everything. We wanted to go to the movies and my daughter got on her phone to see what was playing and check the start time. How is that for convenience? There would be no need to have a wireless card for my laptop if I had a phone that did that!

I am in love with the LG Chocolate Touch. Not only does it let me make calls when I am out and about, it has texting capabilities and a camera. I have had those things with my old ancient phone but the LG Chocolate Touch has a one touch social media feature that would let me stay caught up with my Internet buddies. I could also take 3.2MP Camera/Recorder–quality pictures and videos, with image editor at the moment my dogs do something silly instead of trying to find my camera and missing the moment. The visual effects with the LG Chocolate Touch are amazing.

I love that the LG Chocolate Touch has a music player with Dolby Mobile technology for crystal-clear sound quality. I could be bee bopping to the beat as the handset vibrates to the beat of whatever music I am playing. How cool is that?!

It is time to get up to date with my media! How about you?

Sale, Sale, Sale

Hey, if you are stocking up on gifts for next Christmas, I have lowered the price on one of my Christmas purses. This purse measures 16″ w x 8″ tall and has a 4″ depth.

The handles have a 10″ drop and measure 25″ from handle end to handle end. It fits great over the shoulder or to carry by the handles. The outside pocket is great for grabbing keys and cell phones quickly. It is quilted heavily with batting and is a sturdy well made purse. The handles are reinforced with double stitching and I used two thicknesses of timtex to make them very durable. It closes with a heavy duty zipper.

It has three inside pockets!

I love the fabric covered button.
