Heads or Tails and Down on the Farm
The theme this week at Heads or Tails is “Down on the Farm”. I just happened to visit a farm of sorts while in Paducah at the quilt show in Kentucky this past week.

We visited Patty’s Settlement where there were all types of animals. I had never seen a turkey up close. This one was beautiful as far as turkeys go.
Join us at Heads or Tails. It is fun!

I’ve never been that close to one either, unless you count Thanksgiving dinner.
I suppose to another turkey, this one could be attractive.

Great, the turkey does look beautiful. But now I’m going to feel guilty next time I eat turkey haha, which won’t be until Christmas. Maybe I’ve still got time yet to forget. :p

It is usually hard to say a turkey is beautiful, but that one is quite lovely.

haha, oh my gosh! I got attacked by a flock of turkeys 3 weeks before Thanksgiving last year! Long story short, this lady was raising them for thanksgiving & i walked out to my car & they saw me so they followed me, i got in the car & waited for them to leave but they surrounded me & peeked at my car & tires. The alpha bird jumped on my hood & freaked me out, i blew the horn until the lady rescued me
how embarrassing huh?
