My friend at Vixen’s Den is making the most beautiful aprons. I love aprons! My sister has been making aprons but hasn’t decided if she wants to sell them. I WANT ONE!!! Check out Apron Frenzy’s aprons and tell me if you don’t get bitten by the bug to have an apron. I don’t think having one will make me want to cook but I will look good in the kitchen whether I am grumbling or not!

One of my mom’s friends always finds the most interesting things on the Internet. Usually the things are jokes that have me rolling in the floor with laughter. This time it was a great way to peel a potato! You have to watch this. You will want to throw your potato peeler away.

Are you into pie the way I am into pie? Some might call me addicted to sugar cream pie! I love it. My son found an easy recipe for sugar cream pie and makes it for me when he is home. He is a great kid! While sugar cream is my favorite, I enjoy fruit pies and banana cream pies too. Oh wait! We cannot forget peanut butter pie can we? Yep, I think addicted is a good word for me and my relationship with pie.

I recently discovered that the Great American Pie Contest will be held in Branson, Missouri this year. The dates are April 24-25. That would be a blast to attend. Al Roker, the famous weatherman for NBC will be there. I would love to get his autograph.

It is time to look into the great packages at the Hilton Promenade, Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel. Our daughter recently spent time on a ship and is very glad to be back to her home and in her own bed.
