Great American Pie Contest
I recently discovered that the Great American Pie Contest will be held in Branson, Missouri this year. The dates are April 24-25. That would be a blast to attend. Al Roker, the famous weatherman for NBC will be there. I would love to get his autograph.
It is time to look into the great packages at the Hilton Promenade, Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel. Not only do they have great packages to attend the Great American Pie Contest but they also offer packages for sporting events, hobby events and many more. They are the choice of destination when visiting Branson. The choice of a relaxing vacation or one full of things to do makes their packages appealing to every traveler. By the way, this is the first year that the Branson Air Show will be held. I can think of several friends who would be interested in being in Branson for that. Pie nut, plane nut, Branson is the place to be.
My vacation day would be about perfect if I were to eat a healthy breakfast, walk around the outlet mall and attend the Great American Pie Contest! Branson has something for everyone.

I have got to stop coming across pictures like this. This is probably the third picture I’ve seen today that has made my stomach churn with hunger. I wish I could attend the pie contest but we won’t get back to the States until May or June.
What kind of pie is that? Is it pumpkin pie? It looks delicious!

I love pie. In fact, I just bought a lemon pie last night that was really good. That event sounds fantastic.

Pie is my favorite dessert! I can’t get enough cherry pie, especially with whipped cream and/or ice cream! Too bad I’m up too late to go buy some. I have family that lives near this fest, wish I was aware of this earlier. Oh well, take care.

Mmm, I love pie too. My goal is to try as many different kinds as I can find, but there are hundreds of different kinds so it’s a never ending goal. It’s hard to choose a favorite because it all depends on how each pie was made, but I particularly like peach cobbler!
