Fall Brings Changes
Fall is in the air. I wore a sweatshirt when hubby and I went for our walk this evening. I am ready for fall. I am tired of wearing shorts and sleeveless tops. It is time to get out the warm sweatshirts, sweaters and jeans. I try to buy things at the end of the season when they are marked way down in price. When the season rolls around the next year, I have something new to wear. It makes knowing that winter is coming a little bit more bearable. I hate winter.
I like the recipes that come with fall. When it is hot outside, I am rarely in the mood to eat soup. When fall rolls in, it is time to make chili and vegetable soup. Bring on the frost!

I love the cooling of fall also. Unfortunately, it doesn’t cool off much here, but every little bit helps. I am the same way about soup in summer. Actually I don’t like any hot food when its hot outside. But bring on a chill and I am all about soups, stews, chili, and beans!

Fall and spring are my favorite seasons because I don’t like to be hot or cold.
I agree, soup is for cold weather.

You are definitely right, the fall weather has finally set in and it feels great. Time to break out the winter clothes and go watch a football game.

I hate winter except I can wear long sweaters that hide my fat butt!

Yes! Time to sit and watch the band at a football game. I try to watch the game but get caught up in watching the people!

Fall is my favorite season! I love the slight chill in the air and yes, the soup too (not to mention pumpkin pie).

Hubby and I got married in Oct, fall is our favorite time of the year. Luckily it turned out to be the perfect fall day–crisp, a little bit of sun, not too hot and not too cold. And fall colors are so gorgeous that including them in the wedding was a given!
I always think of high school football games this time of year. New jeans for school and a cute sweatshirt or jacket, hanging out with your friends you haven’t seen all summer….fun times!
And yes, I’ve made my first batch of bean soup already!

It is definitely feeling like the fall in the Midwest. I live in Illinois and it has actually been chilly at night here. I have a feeling we’ll be seeing frost within the next three or four weeks.
