Making It Work
What a difference my new sewing machine makes. I machine quilted on my new leaf wall hanging last night. When I finished I noticed that my bobbin thread was showing through on the top of my quilt. Usually this is not noticeable but I was using white thread on top and navy thread in the bobbin. I had navy dots all over my quilt. I quit for the night instead of pitching the thing in the trash. Tonight, I tried to adjust the tension in my machine but could not get it to look right. I switched over to my new machine to see what would happen. My sister had been using my new machine so I started sewing with my old one. I was thrilled to find that little blue specks of thread were not showing up when I started over on my machine quilting. Yay!

It might be time to put it away. I think I will take it in to be serviced. It is a great machine for as inexpensive as it was way back when I bought it.

I think it’s time to put it away. The machine is very good. I like the end product.
