The Days Fly By
I knew that this week would go by much too quickly. Our daughter has been here this week. She lives in Florida and flew, in an airplane, to visit us before she is deployed. We have been having fun just goofing around. This is a picture of her downloading tunes to my computer. Isn’t she nice? I was telling her all about a “new” singer that I like, Duffy and that she needed to check out her song, Mercy. She let me know that she had put that song on a cd for me the last time she was home and that the cd is in my car. Wow! I need to pay more attention. Stacy was able to get my credit card out of the dash of my car. I talked about my predicament on my other blog in case you are wondering what the heck I am talking about.

I have my daughter download my music too! It is so much quicker than me having to do it.

I know you’ve really enjoyed having your daughter visit. Where is she being deployed?

Aw, it must be so wonderful to have your daughter home. They are also so helpful for us forgetful mothers, aren’t they?

Oh yes, I remember the credit card! I’m glad she was able to retrieve it. And especially glad that you got to spend some quality time with her. Blessings and a safe journey for her.

Charla, she is in the Coast Guard. She will be on a ship somewhere but can’t tell us where.

My baby brother is in the Navy and deployed. (I put a yellow ribbon up on valmg on the day he shipped out and am leaving it up until he’s back home). Hopefully you’ll be lucky like we are and able to get email when she has the time. I’ll keep her in my prayers. It’s bittersweet for family, but we as a country are so fortunate that we have people like her and my brother willing to serve and protect it.

Thanks Val. We are really proud of her.
