A fun summertime memory I have is when my husband and I were dating. This would have been more than 34 years ago since our 34th wedding anniversary is July 13th. We stopped at Kentucky Fried Chicken and picked up a bucket of that greasy stuff. Then headed to France Park in Logansport, Indiana for a fun day of picnicking and swimming. We went with my sister and her boyfriend, I can remember when it started to rain and we sought shelter in the cliffs on one side of the lake. This is a favorite swimming hole in our area. It was a quarry many years ago and is very deep. The cliffs were where many a daring person would jump into the water below. I called them daring but now I think they were plain stupid!
The water in this lake is crystal clear and is used to train persons learning to scuba dive. My husband received his diving certification after diving at France Park. That was before we started dating.
We had a great, relaxing day. That is a great memory for me.
I have many opinions about many things. Let me know what you think.

Ahhh. What a nice memory - even if your sister and her boyfriend were there. This is the 2nd HOT post I’ve read today that mentioned KFC.
