Renting the Dream
When Lynn and I dated, we traveled on his motorcycle. My folks were not thrilled about their daughter riding on a bike but they liked Lynn so they tolerated it. He loved motorcycles. We had a Honda Goldwing when we were first married and kept that until we had children. We had no time to ride motorcycles and so the bike was sold. It wasn’t until 1997 when we bought our Harley Davidson Springer Softail that we began riding again. I found that I couldn’t ride as far as I used to and was uncomfortable on the back of Lynn’s bike so we bought a bike for me. We rode the twists and turns of the roads in southern Indiana for many years. Last year we decided that we were not riding enough to justify keeping the bike and it was sold. I cried.
All is not lost though. Now when we want to ride, we can call on EagleRider and rent a Harley. We checked on renting while we were in Vegas a few years back and were certainly willing but time constraints didn’t allow it to happen. Motorcycle tours are the best ways to really see the country. EagleRider also rents ATVs, Dirt Bikes, Scooters, Snowmobile, and Watercraft. They understand that we motorcycle enthusiasts still have the desire and they are there to help us get that wind in our hair. It won’t be long until we become EagleRiders! They have rentals in the most popular tourist destinations all over the world. It is possible to do one-way rentals or guided tours between franchise rental facilities. They have it worked out to help everyone realize their dream.

That’s quite interesting. When I started dating my (now) husband we used to go on his Yamaha to every place, my parents didn’t like it either. My husband dream bike is a Gold Wing, he loves them and he says he has to have one before he dies. Well, not every dream comes true…

My husband’s dream is to own a motorcycle of his own at one point in his life. I myself am terrified at the thoughts of this.

Yowsa! Who knew you were such a biking wildcat! lol! I love motorcycles, too, but the closest I’ve got to driving one myself is on a moped. :S

Well, I was a motorcyclist until I fell while riding mine and broke my elbow. It wasn’t as much fun after that.

Just be sure he takes the Motorcycle Riders course and he will be fine.

Ah, I love bikes and would get another one if I (and my son) was not so afraid of getting mowed over. I got hit a few times on my old 650 Honda, but I was a tad younger then too !
