Kermit Love Dies at 91
I was sad to read on Elizabeth’s blog that Kermit Love passed away. Even though he lived to be 91, it is hard to hear of someone dying. Kermit Love had a major impact on children’s television when my kids were small. Have you heard of Sesame Street? Working with Jim Henson, Love helped create Big Bird, Mr. Snuffle- upagus and Oscar the Grouch, the lovable characters on Sesame Street. The kids knew Love as Willy the hot dog man. He had an amazing talent for creating costumes and puppets. He will be missed.
