Treats for Living in the Country
We have had a deer making a home in the woods at the back of our field. Our backyard backs up to a field that used to be a horse pasture. At the back of the there is a small patch of woods. This deer has decided to make a home there. I hope she stays a while because I love watching her. It would take a tactical belt to keep me from watching for her each evening. Just around dusk, she appears to get her evening snack.

Lucky you, having a deer living almost in your back yard… It means that nature in your region is not harmed by industry too much… I haven’t seen anything bigger than a wild duck in my area for more than 5 years already:( Although I have been told that now the situation in our region starts improving, someone have seen boars 10 km from the town.

That’s awesome! I’d be eating dinner out there waiting for her!

I thought for a nanosecond that the commentor above was gonna say that she was waiting to eat the dear for dinner. Lol. It is a great blessing to have that, I’ve lived in cities for the most part of my life and don’t always come across those signs of nature.

I also live in a village and have seen deers of all sizes wandering around the woods near us and once almost up to the house. We are very lucky and are thankful to see nature in its beautiful state – untouched and at home.
