PS I Love You
Have you seen PS I Love You? This movie is on my must watch again list. It is a romantic movie set in both New York City and Ireland. If you like to see beautiful shots of green Irish hillsides, this is a movie you will enjoy.
The subject of the movie makes you think. What if, after someone dies, they can help you through the grieving process? Would it help or prolong the process?
I don’t want to give away the plot so I won’t dwell on that but I do want to tell you that I loved this movie. Hillary Swank was so doggone skinny. I don’t remember her being that thin in Million Dollar Baby. Do you remember that movie? She was a boxer. Anyway, she did a great job playing a ditzy yet intelligent person named Holly. Kathy Bates played her mother. She is always wonderful. The actor who played Holly’s husband is a hottie. I like this Gerard Butler fellow. He reminds me of a young Mac Davis. That Irish accent would have me at his beck and call.
Have your hankie ready.

Hi Karen..
I’m in the midst of reading the book now!
But I can’t wait to watch the movie either.. Hillary Swank in Million Dollar Baby was buff in a way.. now i think she lost all the muscle tone.. Anyways, Gerard Butler was suuppperr duuuppperr hot in 300!! Just abs, sword and a shield!! Totally drool worthy!!
Anyways, have a great weekend ahead!!

I have that movie on my computer but have been postponing watching because my DH don’t like (very much) romantic movies, but I can’t wait to watch it.

I really want to see that one, too. I’m thinking about putting it on my list on Netflix. Is it out on video yet?

It would be easy to dismiss “P.S. I Love You,” about the agonies visited on a young married couple, as the big-screen equivalent of a paperback romance.

I just blogged about this movie too. It was sad, but the movie is more of a tearjerker. I loved them both though. I cried more for the book. But it made a great date night movie for my husband and I. My hubby enjoyed it, I think we appreciate each other a little more.

It made us think about how things can happen and we should take time to enjoy what we have.
