Look At This

I am upset. I do not have a dishwasher. Ours broke down a year ago and since we never had a good place to put one we decided not to replace it. Now I see that there is a new invention and it has me drooling. Why am I upset? Because I want it. It is not nice to want what we cannot have. Look at this:

The designer duo of Marie-Christine Lacasse and Marie Claude Savard tackled rethinking how a dishwasher should work, as part of, and displayed in, the kitchen space. Combining the cabinets where you would usually store dishes, the idea is to simply drop the dirty dishes on the rack and the autonomous dishwasher fills up and does it’s thing – cleaning and washing, moving from one cabinet to the next.” Lacasse and Marie Claude Savard unveiled their invention at the University of Quebec in the Montreal Design Grad Show.

I want it bad.

That is really different. But I don’t know if I would want to see the dishes like that all of the time. If that is the cabinet also, it would have to have doors.

Oh.My.Gosh. I want one too! That has to be the best invention! We dont have a dishwasher either as if we did we’d run out of clean dishes before I’d wash a load, but this is great! When I get rich I will get me one, ha!

Hmmmmm….not sure. I’d have to see it….. but I can’t help but wonder if it really cleans the dishes good.

What a great idea. If you had two of them you would never really have to put dishes away. Just move them into the dirty cabinet and when that one fills up wash it and put your dirty dishes in the other cabinet. Brilliant!

I think this would be as entertaining for my kids as the front loading washer, which my daughter refers to as her favorite show.

That looks like a really cool dishwasher. What a fun way to clean your dishes.

That is actually a pretty cool idea!! I am not sure I would want it on my wall, and I question all kinds of water issues on installation, handling, etc. But still cool!

Have stumbled upon your post, loved the dishwasher totally (the appearance and the idea). I’ve just shown it to hubby, he says it is pretty but he is not sure about how effectively it does work… now I just NEED to hear a word from somebody who has seen this working… I suppose they wouldn’t start producing the thing if it worked bad…

That is the coolest thing I’ve seen in a long time. I WANT ONE! I think it’d serve multiple purposes, including hours of entertainment.
