Time for a New Fence
In June of 2006, we had a very bad hail storm and it did a lot of damage to our house. We had all that fixed and everything looks very nice except our fence. We had to move part of our fence so that the tree man, if that is what he is called, could cut all the dead limbs out of two large trees in our backyard. The hail had made a big mess of those two trees. The fence was one my husband constructed several years ago and was very pretty. It is not pretty now. Over the years, the posts have rotted and the fence is leaning. I think it is time for a new one. One of our employees continues to park next to that fence. That is probably not the smartest choice of parking spots.

I have many opinions about many things. Let me know what you think.

eek ! its tipping over, hurry up and go hold it up, heeheehee
But really, a new fence is hard work. My dad put up one a few years ago. Gosh, very hard work. Good Luck !

After a storm two weeks ago I noticed that a large hunk o’tree had taken out three boards in our stockade fence and the only thing discouraging our dog from setting herself free was her disdain for the persistent rain. Luckily the boards were knocked off but still intact, so I was able to schluck out to the yard with a hammer and replace them before Miss Puppy made a break for it.

Aww, it’s too bad you can’t save it. Hubby did a good job on it, it looks like it was a very nice looking fence.
