Mountain Quilts
I am having a great time with my sister in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. We are attending the Mountain Quiltfest 2008. I have to admit that yesterday we spent most of the morning and afternoon shopping. We found some bargains. Shirts and blouses from $10 -$20 and pants for $10. I even bought a belt for $3.99.
Last night we attended a dinner lecture given by Joy Belling. She was a hoot. She has one of those personalities that is so natural that you feel like you could sit down with her and talk for hours. She would often say things that she didn’t realize were coming across as hilarious. The audience was laughing so hard and she couldn’t figure out what was so funny. Her quilts were awesome. She is an expert in color. She does a lot with beads and embroidery. She has won many awards and I can see why.
We hit the hot tub and drank some wine and then hit the hay for a good nights sleep. It is so quiet here in the mountains.

I have many opinions about many things. Let me know what you think.
