Oh my goodness Charla, that is so sad.

I can find many of the fabrics mom used to make us girl’s clothes in the quilts she has made.

No, it doesn’t have a border. Funny thing, Stacy called yesterday to tell me how cozy she was all wrapped up in her quilt. I don’t think she even knew I posted a picture here. LOL

I like the colors in it, too! The different fabrics remind me of a quilt my mother had that my grandmother had made when my mother was growing up. Mother could point to different pieces of material and tell my whether she had had a dress in that print or whether one of my aunts had. I loved for her to tell me about the quilt when I was growing up. Unfortunately, my childhood house burned down, and the quilt and many other priceless family "treasures" burned with it.
