Online Craft Club #25

I was able to finish Stacy’s rag quilt. She picked out the fabric while she was home over Thanksgiving. It is so soft and cuddly. I tried to keep it but she would have no part of that. Imagine that. Pesky child.

If you enjoy crafting things and would like to share them with others, feel free to join in and become a part of the Online Craft Club. This was my first time to share and it was easy.
Cass tells us how to play:
Take a picture of your current project, whatever that happens to be. Or maybe one you recently finished. Or the materials for the one you are about to start. Let’s say materials for a project in whatever state it happens to be in at the time you snap it. On Friday, post the picture and tell us about your project. What you did, or what you are going to do. How much you are enjoying it, or hating it. You know–show and tell.
Leave a comment on Cass’s blog so everyone will know where to find you and see your project. She has the code for that pretty Online Craft Club badge there too.

I have opinions about everything. I do get compensated for some of my opinions. I'd love to hear your opinion on the things I discuss. Please leave me a comment. For more information about my disclosure policy click

That’s so pretty! I love the colors. Does it have a border? It’s hard to tell in the picture. Are you shipping it to her?

I like the colors in it, too! The different fabrics remind me of a quilt my mother had that my grandmother had made when my mother was growing up. Mother could point to different pieces of material and tell my whether she had had a dress in that print or whether one of my aunts had. I loved for her to tell me about the quilt when I was growing up. Unfortunately, my childhood house burned down, and the quilt and many other priceless family “treasures” burned with it.

No, it doesn’t have a border. Funny thing, Stacy called yesterday to tell me how cozy she was all wrapped up in her quilt. I don’t think she even knew I posted a picture here. LOL

Oh my goodness Charla, that is so sad.
I can find many of the fabrics mom used to make us girl’s clothes in the quilts she has made.
