Can You Imagine!
A Florida fisherman caught a hammerhead shark that weighs more than 1,000 pounds. Reaching a length of 14 feet, many thought the fish was fake and probably a hoax. The record for a hammerhead shark is over 1200 pounds but I would garner that this fisherman’s heart was pounding when he reeled this fish in. It is a majestic creature that will be studied. Not much is known about the hammerhead shark species. This fish will bring a lot of knowledge to scientists who are excited about this catch.
Hammerheads are one of the most negatively buoyant of sharks. Like all sharks, hammerhead have electrolocation sensory pores called ampullae of Lorenzini. By distributing the receptors over a wider area, hammerheads can sweep for prey more effectively. These sharks have been able to detect an electrical signal of half a billionth of a volt. The hammer-shaped head also gives these sharks larger nasal tracts, increasing the chance of finding a particle in the water by at least 10 times as against the ability of other ‘classical’ sharks.

I have many opinions about many things. Let me know what you think.
