On the one morning I could have slept in, I woke up at 6 am. I was too alert to fall back asleep and so I just got up. Thankfully, I will have a chance to take a nap on our way to the French Lick Resort this afternoon. We have been wanting to see the resort since they restored the West Baden Hotel a few years ago. I’m sure hubby will donate a little money to the slot machines.

We went to breakfast this morning and walked into a restaurant full of politicians. They were planning their strategies of door to door campaigns and other ways to get their agenda out to the public. It was comical to see them plan. I hope they get it together before they hit the campaign trail. Wait! I think I want them to represent themselves just as they were this morning. My close friend is rallying for her husband to defeat them in the upcoming election. I am so glad I do not have to rely on the public to choose whether I keep my job or not.

I gave Brody a bath this morning and he is running around the house like an idiot. He always does that when he gets a bath. He loves getting a bath and especially loves getting his fur blown dry. Elsie hates baths and she doesn’t get stinky like our little Shih Tzu, Brody. His fur gets doggie smelling quickly. They are going to ride to French Lick with us so they won’t be cooped up in the house all day. We are going to spend the night at Greg’s apartment. He will love seeing his puppies.
