Yummy Popcorn Recipe
In my effort to keep eating healthier foods, this is what I am making to take to our friend’s New Year’s party.
Puppy Chow Popcorn
1 cup popped Orville Redenbacher’s®
Popcorn
1 cup peanut butter
12 oz. bag chocolate chips
6 cups rice chex cereal.
Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter on stove.
Pour over popcorn and chex mixture while mixing.
Lay out over waxed paper to cool overnight. Break apart
and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
I found the recipe from the website of the Popcorn Festival of Clay County. That is the home of Orville Redenbacher who founded the Orville Redenbacher’s® Popcorn company.
Thanks to my friend Elizabeth, I was introduced all over again to this wonderful popcorn. Elizabeth is holding a contest on her blog Table4five and I am trying to win! Each entree has a chance to win a year’s supply of Orville Redenbacher’s® Popcorn and a year’s subscription to Netflix!

Nathan just asked me the other day if I could make Puppy Chow, which I’ve never actually done. It sounds good mixed with popcorn!
