A Waste

I am so mad at anti terrorism crusader Benazir Bhutto. She knew that she would be targeted for murder yet she put herself out there for it to happen. I think she could have done so much more for her country and now she won’t be able to. What was behind her reasoning to be exposed so much? I don’t get it. She had children to think of.

Yes, it’s a shame that this woman died, she did so much and could have do so much more. But I hardly think it’s appropriate to be blaming her for her death. Are you saying that because she was being targeted she should have hid herself away to care for her child?

Being a leader means sacrifices and Bhutto believed in what she was fighting for, she couldn’t have been an active force against terrorism if she locked herself up and hid from danger that would have sent a completely different message than what she wanted to send.

Really, I think you should be directing your anger at her murderers and respecting the choices she made, the sacrifice she made for her people.

I think if she had hid herself away she could have done so much more for her country. I don’t agree that she couldn’t have been an active force against terrorism. I am angry at her murderers because they are the kind of people who won’t sit down at the table and talk things out. I am not angry at her quest only that she didn’t do it behind bullet proof glass and such.

I would like to also say your anger is misguided, I admire the fact that she was willing to put her life on the line for what she believed was right for her country. I don’t see how she could do any more than she did, she gave the ultimate sacrifice.

I am saying that she didn’t have to give her life. She could have done so much more.
