Enjoyable Day
We had a wonderful day today. Our son is interning at the statehouse as part of his last semester of college. We enjoyed the tour of the statehouse so much. Our tour guide was especially knowledgeable about the historical aspects of many features of the building. I got my walk in while going up and down all of the marble steps. We were supposed to sit in on the legislative session this afternoon but we had to pick up some tile and run errands so we skipped that part. We found out we were to have our picture taken with our district representative. I feel like a bum for causing Greg to miss that opportunity. Not to dwell on that though, it was a fun day. We had lunch at a place that, although it was just a tavern, probably had heard a lot of political conversation about our state.
